Mainnet - Ready for Millions
Everything is lining up for the September mainnet launch of Orange Web3. Here’s what to expect and why it matters.
We’ve already proven scale on the Orange Testnet with 37 million on-chain actions and more than 20 million plays. That stress test showed the stack works. Now we’re taking the leap to our own chain to unlock the next wave of growth.
For Phase 1 we’re launching on Proof of Authority (PoA), the only responsible way to onboard the millions of users in our pipeline. The scale has grown far beyond early expectations, and PoA gives Orange the throughput and reliability needed to go live with confidence, keeping the network stable and smooth as the ecosystem grows.
Backing this launch is Ava Labs and Ava Cloud, the team behind Avalanche and the benchmark for blockchain speed, stability, and enterprise-grade adoption. No one else in the industry has their track record. Partnering with them means Orange is built on the strongest foundation possible. Allowing us to move at crypto-speed with the kind of reliability global partners demand.
Once the time is right, we’ll transition to Proof of Stake (PoS), opening validation to the community and empowering public validators to secure and scale the network even further.
Orange ID becomes the gateway
Your Orange ID is the key that ties the ecosystem together. It is single sign-on for apps, games, and worlds, and it powers the rewards loop that keeps explorers engaged.
If you caught our last update, Rewards Level Up, you know Go3 is the on-chain XP that tracks real participation across the network and boosts your chances in future drops. With Go3 now extended network-wide, enterprise partners and creators can instantly plug into a gamified rewards engine that drives real traffic and retention.
Rewards for being early
Mainnet launch is coming with two big perks:
- Go3 for early joiners - your permanent XP marker on-chain. This soulbound token proves you were an early adopter and unlocks future perks as the ecosystem grows.
- 5 $ORNG welcome bonus - The first million wallets on Orange L1 will automatically receive 5 $ORNG. No sign-ups, no claims. If your wallet is in that early wave, you’ll see the bonus credited directly.
All $JUC used to write this data onchain, issue Go3 and distribute these $ORNG bonuses will be burned, reducing supply.
Deflationary by design
Every action on Orange L1 uses $JUC as gas. For the first 12 months, every transaction will burn $JUC.
To make onboarding frictionless, Orange Web3 will fund gas fees, so users experience zero friction, while the network still applies deflationary pressure to $JUC behind the scenes.
On top of that, Orange will introduce a buyback-and-burn program and match $JUC spent on $JUC burns by purchasing an equivalent amount of $ORNG. Half of that $ORNG will be burned to cut supply further, and half will go to creators whose projects drive the activity. It’s a system that rewards the builders and strengthens both tokens as the network grows.
Cross-chain made easy
Keeping liquidity simple is a priority. $ORNG and $JUC will flow seamlessly between the Avalanche C-Chain and Orange Network L1. No migration required, we’re building a smooth bridge and wallet experience so you can move assets where you want them.
